The Najaf, Iraq project proves that tunnel formwork is just as effective for large-scale horizontal housing as it is for high-rise construction.

Across two developments comprising 5,300 villas, three villa types were built using a 24-hour casting cycle. Four villas were cast together as a single block, combining mobile cranes for foundations, tower cranes for tunnel formwork and steel formwork for parapets and perimeter walls.

The result: 100 luxury villas (130–140 m²) delivered every month.

This level of productivity comes from planning, logistics and disciplined execution. When every operation is synchronised, tunnel formwork becomes one of the world's most productive construction systems.
